Monster In My Garden has discontinued it's online business.

Greetings. My name is Don Fisher. I began MIMG back in February of 2009 as a "hobby" business. It has been a wonderful and rewarding ten years of online sales. While the majority of sales have been to individuals wanting to add interest to their outdoor desert theme gardens, there has also been many nature centers that have purchased my gila replicas for their habitat exhibits. When I first began selling these replicas online, I did not realize that sales would not just be confined to the southwestern portion of the U.S., but would include buyers located in all parts of the United States. Among my earliest of sales was to the Bruce Museum in Connecticut for their panoramic display depicting "Extreme Habitats." Most importantly, my online business has introduced me to numerous interesting people, some, of whom, have become long time friends. To sum it up, it's been a great ten years. But, I admit, I've grown tired and weary of the process (especially the tedium of painting the gila's dorsal pattern). Even though I've been officially retired after thirty years as a peace officer for the State of California, I've decided to join the ranks of the "truly retired" by spending more time with my family.

PS: I've decided to keep this website active for anyone who might be interested in the process of making a gila replica. Click HERE if you wish to learn how a gila replica is created. Should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me at dfish902@gmail.com.
